I was pleased with our stay at the hotel overall. The location was great, within walking distance of most things, and the staff were really good, attentive to our needs as a family. The rooms were spacious even with the trundle bed for our 4-year-old who loved the stay, but they were still not ready at 3 pm. The dining experience was amazing and thoughtful during challenging times but was a bit disappointing being served in a paper box delivered to the room around 8:30-9. However, it was a disappointment that the rooms do not have air conditioning or a ceiling fan.
The hotel location is superb, near the surf beach, train station, and charming cafes. The rooms, while functional, lack soft touches and warm lighting, making them feel somewhat clinical. The service was a mix of helpfulness and unfriendliness, with an appreciated room upgrade but also encounters with less than friendly staff. The dining options, although delivered promptly, could be improved in terms of variety and presentation. The proximity to local attractions is excellent, but the lack of lounging areas and noise from neighboring establishments are drawbacks.
The hotel offers clean and fresh rooms, perfect for a short stay. Common areas are spotless, but the room size was not within our expectations for this price range. Great for a few nights.
